Business Development Assistant Manager
Job Title/Description
GuestHouser is looking for an experienced individual to take this disruptive travel revolution to the next level. This person will be responsible for handling a team of executives to deliver better results from our existing supply of properties. The candidate must have a strategic mind in order to develop solutions by analysing patterns. He/she will be responsible for analysing properties that currently do not receive many bookings and understanding which factors need to be changed to increase the number of transactions. We are looking for someone who thrives in challenging situations, can be trusted with high levels of autonomy, has the ability to take critical decisions, and has a strong focus on execution.
Key Responsibilities :
  • Manage a team of 3-5 executives
  • Analyse properties that currently do not receive bookings and find patterns that explain why
  • Develop strategies that lead to a larger number of transactions from these idle properties
  • Execute these strategies and solutions by leading a team of executives
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service
  • Work with related departments within the organisation to meet customer needs
  • Develop processes and train the team on building successful relationships with hosts in order to maximise the number of bookings hosts receive
  • Lead the business development team through efficient performance management systems such as review meetings, performance monitoring, and discussions
  • Submit weekly progress reports of the team
  • Develop performance metrics and targets, and ensure they are met by the team
  • Understand the company’s goal and purpose in order to continually enhance the company’s performance in the realm of business development
Skills & Qualifications :
  • 2.5+ years of relevant experience in business development
  • A strategic mind and the knack for finding patterns and unconventional solutions
  • A bachelor’s degree in any stream, preferably management
  • Prior experience of leading a team
  • Strong business acumen and team management skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to handle on-the-ground situations
  • Intelligent, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
  • Strong ethics and sense of integrity
  • Knowledge of MS Office, and Google sheets and documents
Desired Experience: 2.5+ years
Expected Date of Joining: Immediate to 1 month
