Job Title/Description
GuestHouser is hiring for the position of a Human Resource Manager, which is both a strategic and a hands-on role aimed at providing full-cycle human resource support across multiple teams. This person will be responsible for executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. A desirable candidate will have/be:
Key Responsibilities
  • The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within the company
  • A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the ‘pulse’ of employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
  • Experience with a complex and rapidly changing work environment
  • Experience of coaching and mentoring at management level
  • Success in creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention, and reward programs

Basic qualifications/skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR business partner capacity with progressive responsibility
  • Ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees at all levels in the organization
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues
  • Experience in conducting complex investigations
  • Proven ability to diagnose problems using strategic thinking as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions
  • Commitment to continuous process improvement in people strategies and initiatives
  • Project/program management skills
  • Effective communication skills - written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a business and HR team
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian employment laws
Preferred qualifications/skills
  • Master's degree or MBA
  • Experience in corporate and operations environments
  • Experience with highly ambiguous and/or start-up environments
  • Organization development experience
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills: must display patience, a sense of humour, and a desire to help at all times to effectively function as the front-line contact for all employee issues
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
