Paid Social Media Specialist
Job Title/Description
We are seeking a Paid Social Media Specialist who will own and execute paid social media for GuestHouser. He/She will manage direct response social acquisition and retargeting strategy, execution and optimization for multiple branded sites. This will include managing the Facebook analytics, creating unique audience sets requesting creative, executing on campaigns and tracking and reporting on program performance. You will be responsible to optimise Facebook and Instagram campaigns designed to deliver customers with the highest lifetime value at the lowest CPA possible. The ideal candidate for this position should have a firm social media and analytical background in paid media with a strong discipline for driving conversions and delivering real ROI.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provides clear, strong reporting on tactics, results, and conversion/performance metrics.
  • Apply appropriate analysis and optimisation techniques to aggressively scale paid media campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Strategically craft paid Facebook audience targets using custom audiences, retargeting, and psychographic characteristics.
  • Key stakeholder in identifying a strategy to attract, engage, and convert social users through a paid campaign.
  • Educates oneself on new program features and best practices that could be used to achieve core KPIs.
  • Use data from Facebook as well as our internal multi-touch attribution tools to expand, evolve, and optimise paid social media campaigns.
  • Reporting: analyse data to maintain and forecast monthly budget and ROI figures, and to provide key insights and recommendations on campaign performance
  • Create ads using Facebook Power Editor and other social channel advertising platforms.
  • Clearly develop, outline, and plan strategic ad campaigns to achieve clearly defined objectives.
Skills & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of hands on experience in managing Facebook Ads
  • Highly proficient in Facebook’s Ads Manager and/or Power Editor.
  • Experience managing LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads, Pinterest Ads; a plus.
  • Comfortable with A/B testing tools and methods to prove statistical significance between ad and target market variations.
  • Comfortable at quickly using Excel for data analysis and manipulation (pivot tables, modelling, etc.)
  • Proven skills in ad copywriting; a plus.
  • Experience in Google Analytics or other analytics software
  • Experience working in International markets; a plus
