Software Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer responsible for building & integrating new features to the product. Your
primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, database architecture and ensuring high performance
of the application. You will also be responsible for integrating the elements built by your co-workers into the
application. Therefore, a basic understanding of technologies is necessary as well.
Key Responsibilities
Design of the overall architecture of the web application
Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
Integration of user-facing elements developed by developers with server side logic
Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony etc. depending on your technology stack
Understanding of MVC design patterns
Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
Working knowledge of MySQL and other SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Basic understanding of technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
