Nestled amidst mighty oak, rhododendron, and deodar woods, this property is situated in the sleepy town of Pangot in Nainital. On each side, luscious forest reserves sheath undulating slopes of the Kumaon valley to create a breathtaking landscape comprising the emerald-green waters of Naini Lake, dense woods teeming with chirpy birds, and azure-blue skies stroked with wispy clouds.
The property offers a variety of cottage accommodations—from rustic chalet-style cabins and white-adobe rooms to independent cottages. Offered here is a rustic chalet-style cottage standing independently below a leafy avenue, which houses four cosy bedrooms with an attached bathroom each and a comfortable sitting area with cane seats and loungers. Well-furnished with logwood double beds, carpeted flooring, and minimalist décor, the rooms open out to small verandas at the back—allowing guests to lie back on loungers and sip a cuppa under the cool shade of the neem trees. Composed of overlaid stone, pebbles, and logwoods, its façade features an eclectic mix of the various exterior decoration styles characteristic of this area.
While all avenues offer a glorious view of the pristine Kumaoni valley, a long trek through high ridges and dense woods offers a more intimate experience. For those with green fingers, there is a quaint garden abloom with vines and delightful pansies at the back to engage in. Up to twenty-seven guests can spend an enjoyable and a wholesome vacation here!
Accommodation in the Lodge consists of four comfortable suites. Each suite has a bedroom and bathroom, common sitting area as well as large outdoor patios. Several interesting Treks ranging from one to seven days can be undertaken from the Lodge. The trails are through thick forests and along high ridges which provide panoramic views of the Himalayas.

Local Experience
Apart from the views, which are spectacular, there is much for the visitor to do. For birders or those who wish to explore, the forests contain a variety of flora and fauna; animals include Leopard, Himalayan Black Bear, Yellow Throated Marten, Red Fox, Sambhar, Kakar (Barking Deer), Leopard Cat and Ghoral (Mountain Goat). There are also many birds such as Kaleeje, Chir and Koklass Pheasants, Minivets, Orioles, Redbilled Blue Magpie, White-crested Laughing Thrush and Spotted Forktail. Birds of Prey include the majestic Golden Eagle as well as the Himalayan Griffon and Lammergeier amongst other species.
