Our property is a passionate lover of nature, especially the forest. For the last 24 years, he has been ceaselessly and tirelessly working for the reservation of forest with all their flora and fauna. He considers these 24 years as the most fruitful years of his life because of an invaluable knowledge he has gained about the Ayurvedic value of the plants, trees, climbers, herbs, shrubs, grasses, bamboos, epiphytes and parasites he has personally located and identified in the forests of the Maikal mountain rages. In fact, these rages are known to be second only to the Himalaya in so far as the wealth of vegetation having such medical properties is concerned. This gave birth to his abiding conviction that these gifts of nature must be saved, as indeed must the wildlife be. Jungles must be saved, whatever the cost. However, he realized that he could not do much without the participation of the local people. Most of them have lost their traditional knowledge of the herbs. Some of the old tribal folk of Biruhali and nearby villages periodically took few herbs they knew to the market and sold them literally for a pittance. Mr. Pathak immediately saw how he could seek their participation in saving the jungles. He started enlightening them of the actual worth of what they were selling for such paltry sums of money when they could get ten of times more money for same things. This new knowledge thus provided them the reason why they must protect the forest.

Facilities : Chandralaya - Our Special Luxury Suite (Fully AC) The river Pipihee brushes past this suite. You can enjoy the beauty of the river, its sandy banks and the jungle surrounding it from its balconies and even the bedroom. You can see the animals of the surrounding forest coming to drink water at any time of the day or night. The suite has special cooked food. All the necessary provisions and fresh vegetables of our own farm are supplied by the resort. AC and Non AC Deluxe Rooms These rooms are well equipped with comfortable beds, modern toilets, bathroom with cool and hot water, television, refrigerator, telephone and an always-ready room services. A Well-appointed Modern Kitchen We have large well ventilated and hygienically managed kitchen with well trained chefs and cooks. However, what differentiates us from other major resorts is: we prepare delicious foods with our own organically grown and pesticide free food grains and vegetables

The river Pipihee brushes past our Resort. Our location, therefore, give it anatural advantage ot make it possible for us to organize caps, campfires and picnic at all the nearby places. Most ideal for groups. A Silent but Powerful Genset The resort has its own powerful electric generator to ensure a 24-hours uninterrupted power supply to all the units of our resort. It is extremely silent; you can hear it only when you go close to it. This ensures that the peace of the jubgle remains undisturbed. Attached to this generator is our large scale water treatment plant (OR Pattern).
