Situated an hour’s drive from the popular hill stations of Ooty and Coonoor, it is the perfect gateway to numerous that the Nilgiris offer. The Nilgiris are a range of mountains forming a part of the Western Ghats situated in the western part of the state Tamil Nadu at the edge of the Deccan Plateau. The Nilgiris Biosphere Reserve is a part of UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves.

This Guest House is an array of three large glass cubes set along the slope of a hill-especially spectacular when the lights come on at night. Guests climb a set of stone steps hewn into the hill slope and enter a foyer. The enormous glass walls on three sides are windows to beautiful views of the surroundings: small tea gardens, neighboring houses, in the distance a glimpse of a valley and mountain top sex tending into the haze on the horizon. The main attraction within the town is Sim's Park, a small well maintained botanical garden that has several varieties of plants. There are trekking trails leading out from the town
