This route passes through tea gardens and forest areas of dooars. Siliguri or New Jalpaiguri (at the outskirt of Siliguri) rail stations are connected by railways with many major cities in India. Bagdogra (75KM) Airport provides daily flight services to and fro Kolkata, Delhi and Guwahati.
