Plush beds, teak flooring in some, wood-panelled ceilings, pleasing amber lighting, comfortable couches and wooden arm chairs accompanied by coffee tables for added convenience, and Aztec-print rugs create a warm inviting ambience. Sunshine streams through the wooden ceiling beams, creating solitary cosy reading spaces. A large dining space with an eight-seat dining space is a great place to have your meals. Situated by a lovely fireplace, this is the ideal place to bond with your companions over a noisy meal of laughter and great food and of course a crackling fire to keep you warm on those cold nights! The living room has plush couches that provide ample seating. Stylish table lamps and tiger portraits create a surreal ambience. The bathrooms are well-appointed and stylishly decorated, with wooden flooring and cabinets in some and exposed Adobe walls in others. Outside, a lovely pebbled water feature adds serenity to the space, with ornamental banana trees flanking the space. A lovely terrace sit-out with cane chairs provides a gorgeous view of the sky-kissing mountains in the distance. Alternatively, you could sit in the dappled shade in the courtyard and unwind completely, with the only sounds being the chirping of birds and the swishing of breeze through the leaves of tall trees. If you want to have a romantic breakfast for two, that can be arranged for you on flagstone and grass by a railing and looking down the hillside. The nearest airport is Pantnagar, about 70 kilometer from house. Private carriers make regular flights from Delhi to Pantnagar. From Pant nagar to house is a comfortable two hour drive by taxis.
Ranikhet Express starts from Old Delhi Railway station at around 10.30 p.m and reaches Kathgodam (last station).by 5 a.m. It is a comfortable overnight journey but you need to book well intime to get confirmed air conditioned births. Taxis will come up to house readily.
Buses from all parts of North India come to Haldwani. Apart from the State transport buses, private operator- Heena Travels operates over night air conditioned buses that start from Cannaught Place to Nainital. Private taxis will bring you to our place.
