Featuring a raftered wooden roof, the sprawling parlour is decked out in vintage cabriole-legged tables, Abbotsford chairs, and a massive ethnic carpet. An exquisitely carved mantelpiece in ebony-finish wood dresses up a corner with all its grandeur, while delicate glass hang-lights and abstract Modern Art paintings notch it up further. The bedrooms are accessed through a cosy foyer with a glorious view of the wispy landscape and are of two types—twin room and family room. The twin room, as the name suggest, is well-furnished with two single beds and traditional décor elements such as lampshades, while it opens out to a cosy balcony by the side. The family room is well-furnished with a simple double bed and a supplementary single bed for those with tiny tots in tow. A bay window bench adds to the cosiness element of the setting. Notwithstanding the compactness of the rooms, each is outfitted with ample windows to allow plentiful of sunlight in with a gorgeous sun-kissed view of the Shimla townscape.
