Room in Wooden Cottage

Nestled amidst the lush forests of Karnataka on a wild grassy meadow, this wooden cottage features a wildlife-themed bedroom which can easily host up to two guests. Settled on the banks of the Kaveri River, it offers stunning vistas of the nearby forest reserve spread majestically against a backdrop of brilliant azure skies and tropical trees. Done up in jungle-camouflage theme with a massive wildlife-scene mural forming its centrepiece, the room is well-furnished with twin cottage beds, woven sofa chairs, and a supplementary single bed for an extra third guest.

A wonderful mix of delightful nature and wild adventure, these cottages is close enough for easy access and far enough to cut yourself off from the everyday humdrum. Haven to over 200 species of birds, some of the commonly sighted ones are they grey headed fish eagle, pied crested cuckoo, darter etc., just name few. Among the mammals that are spotted in the Sanctuary are the sambar, spotted deer, jackals, the highly endangered grizzled giant squirrel, the leopard and elephants, has always been a major attraction here!

Guest Brief

The campus also has a lot of open area with a tumbling net and machan for kids and adults to engage in recreation. For those who prefer a more quite time alone, there are hammocks fixed outside each tent and hut, where one could read a book to while away time or even fall asleep.
