Beautiful Cottage to be in..

Our place where ‘farm fresh’ does not stand for a pizza flavour, where ‘jungle’ is not preceded by ‘concrete’, and where an uphill climb has little to do with corporate ladder. The cottage – set amid terraced fields at village Nathuakhan, 40 km ahead of Nainital, in the Himalayas – is surrounded by reserved pine forests on two sides, and quietude on all.

Our place is spread over an acre of land, has a cottage comprising spacious bedrooms with attached modern bathrooms, and a common dining area. It is surrounded by orchards and fields on all sides. You won’t get to hear the television here, but you can occasionally hear a cow mooing at a distance, or a cricket crooning right outside your window. On local festive occasions, the faded sounds of the dholak come wafting from the village temple, which is located at a half-hour trek from the cottage.

Guest Brief

The cottage has been constructed in the traditional method – with a tin roof, mud-plastered walls and stone floors. Each room has an open sit-out area. The common dining area is where buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. A limited room service menu is also available for the in-between times.
