Our Heritage was originally a family home built in the post 2nd World War of 1946. The house was recently awarded a 'Heritage Status'. An old house with new soul promises contemporary comfort in a historical setting that brings together tradition, art and hospitality all under one roof, Although the house has been remodeled and refurnished, the exterior structure and many of the original interior have left untouched like the wood -paneled ceiling in the anteroom, the textured mango wall enroute to the dining room and the wood flooring in most of the room- all circa 1946
Along with rooms each piece of furniture also wears its individuality on its sleeve from the versatile cane chairs and the bamboo mat- topping writing tables- each has been specially handcrafted. the interior juxtapose Spartan white- washed walls and dark chocolate furniture with the delicious freshness of tomato bed spreads, mango walls and juicy orange drapes- textures and styles come together in a prolific riot of co lours to create an informal yet tasteful space
We promise of comforts extends to the dining table where guests can expect to be served delicious and wholesome meals. The in house chef serves up an impressive selection. Adventure guest can also explore the nuances of naga cuisine, adapted to suit non local palates
