Established over more than a century ago, this palatial colonial-era dwelling is tucked away in a swathe of deodars and rhododendrons and stands in an oasis of calm, away from the din of the main town. With a bright clay-red hip-roof popping out over its stark-white exteriors, the house is unmistakeable. Closer, it features a façade populated by arch-windows, balconettes, and wood-panelled ledges. Indoors, a lengthy corridor sprawled in a red runner carpet connects the various bedrooms and other areas of the house. On offer is a spacious bedroom that can easily host up to three guests. Sheltered under a dark-finish cladded ceiling, it is floored in wood-stain hardwood and decorated in a mix of antique and modern elements. The bedroom comes equipped with a plush double bed that is inset in a mirrored wall alcove behind it, a vanity dresser, fretwork cushioned chairs, and nightstands. Ensconced in the cosy comforts of the bedroom, stepping out might present a challenge in itself! Although here, countless enjoyable activities await you outdoors such as master-chef classes, stargazing nights with telescopes, and a slew of the adventure activities like river rafting.
It is a 180 year old unique heritage boutique property nestled amidst oak trees and semi wild forest. The rooms are spacious and elegantly appointed and offer a blend of colonial era and modern facilities. High ceilings, large bathrooms, wooden flooring with Himalayan snow capped mountain views from room.
