Excellent place to spend a weekend with friends. Great location, rustic ambience inside. The caretaker Mr.Joyanna takes good care of all the needs, including customized meals, bonfire, and even took us for a walk around the plantation till the nearby river. All meals and beverages are chargeable. Decent food, the standard n.v lunch/dinner is charged at Rs.180 now, whatever extra we ordered like egg, chicken/mutton fry were provided at additional charge.Breakfast is also chargeable at Rs.75/portion. Tea/coffee was served @Rs.20/serving. The rooms are neat and each room has 3 beds. Living rarea is pretty big and has a nice decor, It has a carrom board and few decks of playing cards lying around. And enough seating to accommodate even 10 guests. The Bathrooms are very basic(no shower, no health faucet, etc.,) but neat. Outdoor area is plush and amazing with a gazebo and a separate place for bonfire. Bonfires are made available on reques( @Rs 500) with enough firewood kept to last a night.
The house is lovely, well furnished and spacious, good for big families. Location is perfect if you want a getaway from city life but for the same reason having your own transport would be good. A caretaker was available all the time and home cooked food was good. But, there was some issue with hot water and TV while we stayed. Overall it was a good stay!
