Room for 3 in a Tibetan house

Located near Chowrata, this is a moderately priced offering that up to three guests can share. Owned and managed by a Tibetan family, it gives you a chance to discover their culture and ways. The room is cosy, with a set of rugs placed on a wood-panelled floor, comfortable double bed, and a modern washroom. There is a common living area with traditional Tibetan décor. Carved wooden furniture, beautiful carpets, fabric wall hangings, and artefacts adorn the space and give you a peek into Tibetan craft.

Our place is situated very close to the Chowrasta, which is the heart of Darjeeling with an easy gradient. It is in easy proximity to several restaurants and the Taxi stand. Just opposite are the local Tibetan Community Hall and the office of the Tibetan Refugee Centre. Snow Lion provides spectacular views of the beautiful Kanchenzonga mountain ranges, and of the Darjeeling town.
