Spread across a glorious 205 square kilometers, the lake traverses several districts of Kerala, the south Indian state we dearly call God's own country. Our home stay offers a picture perfect piece of paradise nestled on the lush shore of the backwaters of Kumarakom. Ultra spacious bedrooms, living room and a dining area, a swim in the sun-kissed pool, Open-to-sky bathrooms, Lake View sitout, some authentic Ayurvedic therapies or night in private houseboat, take your pick. At this place, we don't run short of magnificent views to treat you. Designed in Laurie Baker style of construction, this villa is built on wire-cut bricks. It is Eco-friendly because it does not require constant painting after every Kerala monsoon. Wood and tiles from old Kerala homes have been used inventively. Solar panels tap into a green source of energy. The canal has been lined with vet over grass rather than cement as it is a natural bonding agent. Old doors have been recycled to create cupboards in rooms. It is aneco-sensitive design throughout.
The rooms are quite spacious and is amassed with all the modern comforts for the guests to have a restful stay. Each room comes with a large bed with bedside table and various modern pieces of electronics like Tv, Ac. etc. They have an ensuite bathroom with all the essential toiletries and modern fixtures for a restful stay. The villa also consists of a living area and a dining area. It is embellished with modish sofa and dining set.

Vembanad (Vembanad Kayal or Vembanad Kol) is the longest lake in India and the largest lake in the state of Kerala. A house house boat journey can cruise through the backwaters, we can also arrange stay and food on house boats. This one would really a wonderful and unforgettable experience!

Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary (also known as Vembanad Bird Sanctuary) is situated at Kumarakom on the banks of Vembanad Lake. Set in the Kumarakom Backwaters the bird sanctuary is an ornithologist’s paradise and a much-loved haunt of migratory birds.
Aruvikkuzhi Waterfall :
Located 2 km from Kumarakom, Aruvikkuzhi is a spectacular picnic spot and an ideal shooting location for movies here in Kerala.
