This pretty homestay has a rather rustic appeal to it, with traditional furniture and laterite walls, which are typical of South India. The home is rather commodious and sprawled out with a red roof and colonial-style wooden pillars, typical of a hill bungalow. The stone walkway leads into a spacious patio, which houses convenient seating so guests can relax and enjoy the view of the greenery outside. Large cane sofas offer ample seating for a group or family to sit together. Inside, a little seating space with low chairs fabricated from bamboo, with a tree stump for a table; brass pot holders add to the rustic touch. Four-posted beds in the room, with an attached modern washroom ensure that guests are comfortable. An open courtyard, decorated with hanging planters and pebbles, and a Buddha statue mounted on the laterite wall adds an air of serenity to the place. A bonfire pit ensures guests can enjoy a sputtering fire on a cold misty night.
