Commodious hut for backpackers, 1.2 km from Agonda beach

Standing in the midst of lawns dotted with rich plants, tees, and towering palms, this property in Agonda offers a simple hut, constructed traditionally with wood logs and weaved bamboo sheets and crowned with a thatched roof. Inside, there is a plush double bed, a comfortable seater with a utility table, and a functional washroom, all under a raftered ceiling. Cushioned cane chairs in the porch make for the perfect spots to savour some morning tea, while a hammock outside lets you relax, read a good book, and enjoy some quiet time.

All hand made with natural materials as wood and bamboo, the walls are made with bamboo mats and for the floors we used local slate. For this reason the huts are cool even during the hot afternoon: air is always fresh like a kind of natural a.c.
