It has been designed from two 100 year old Portuguese houses that have been combined to form one house. It gives guests the experience of living in an ancient house with the comforts of a modern home. The architecture and design is an amalgamation of Portuguese, Sri Lankan and South East Asian designs created by the owner himself.The swimming pool set in the courtyard of the house offers a private experience of swimming while gazing at the spectacular view of the stars. The entire house centers around the pool as the living room and the 3 bedrooms are situated around it. The pool continues into the living room inviting you to take a dip at any time.
The living room also has an open kitchen which is fully equipped with all modern amenities for cooking up that delicious meal.
You can choose to cook yourself or opt for a cook which is available on request. On the other side is a verandah which overlooks the side garden. The entire property is surrounded by gardens on 3 sides along with a patio in the front of the house; another place to enjoy that cup of local tea.
Guests are requested to provide valid ID proof at the time of check-in.
Local Experience
Siolim is a Riverside area where some exclusive heritage stays are located. While Siolim is not too far from the beaches, its still opted for by guests looking to be away from beaches or repeat travellers to Goa looking for something other than beaches. There are houseboat cruises happen in Siolim river that offer most exclusive countryside experience.
Vagator Beach-Adjoining the famous Anjuna beach, Vagator is a little more laid back. The tourist traffic is predominantly Western backpackers, however it has also become popular with Indian tourists, who particularly come to watch the sunset from the rocks.
St Jerome Church is a 400+ year old Church near Mapusa. Feast day is celebrated on 2nd Monday after Easter
Church of our lady of Miracles In Mapusa, this church was built in 1594 and has a Baroque facade.
Mae de Deus Church was built in 1873 and represents gothic style of architecture.
