With its dramatic red cliffs rising out of the sea, Vagator combines a boisterous vibe with raw beauty, setting it apart from any other Goan beach. The waters are choppier here, with rough waves beating against the old rocks, but the sunsets here seem to be painted from an entirely different palette. Vagator is divided into Little Vagator or Ozran Beach and Big Vagator Beach. Big Vagator is host to a number of casual shack restaurants that offer the most finger-licking Goan seafood. Little Vagator hosts a number of more sophisticated offerings, the most famous of which are Thalassa—with its incredibly stunning sea view—and Chronicle, the multi-levelled cliff bar and restaurant.
