The pristine Palolem Beach has a unique crescent shape. The main highlight of this beach apart from its scenic beauty is a stone sculpture named Money Stone. Abyss Marine Aquarium, Alorna Fort and Amthane Dam are other beautiful places worth visiting.
The white sands of Patnem beach are a 100-metre walk past quaint village houses and coconut groves. The beach is not crowded, relatively pristine and is a sunbather's paradise with no crowds to disturb. There are few locals providing deck chairs, umbrellas, massages and of course the famous Goan restaurant and bar snacks.
