It lies 51 km from Dehradun. Sikh pilgrims throng Poanta Sahib. Another advantage for tourists in the capital city of Uttarakhand is that places like Rishikesh, Haridwar, Mussoorie and Chopta are located pretty close to the city and can be visited on a day trip.
