Cosy tree house stay with a spectacular view

This classic bamboo tree house, perched on the bark of a tree, is situated in Mankulam, which is at a one-hour driving distance from Munnar. A metal ladder-styled staircase leads to the one-bedroom tree-house that is draped with greenery and encircled by towering trees. The tree house offers peaceful surroundings, and is a retreat for people who want to venture into the wild, away from the cacophony of the city. The tranquil tree house has a lovely balcony that offers a picturesque view of the misty Western Ghats. There is ample space to sit and perhaps listen to music or scribble some notes in your diary.

The interiors are completely created out of woven bamboo, adding a rather attractive rustic charm to the accommodation. The compact bedroom radiates comfort with a comfortable double bed and you can enjoy spectacular views of your environs without getting out of your bed. A glass-topped cane table with two comfortable cane chairs are perfect for your morning cuppa coffee. There is also a shelf for you to store your belongings. A television set in the room is mounted on the wall so that you don’t miss out on your favourite shows. The bathroom is functional and equipped with modern sanitary ware.

Guests are requested to provide valid ID proof at the time of check-in. Chef charges 500/- per day and all ingredients need to be provided by the guests. Pick up and drop charge from Munnar till property 800/- single way. Bonfire charge 1000/- for 3 hours.
