The holiday home is a 300-year-old Portuguese Goan home located in a typical fishing village that continues to hold fast to the charm of traditional Goa. Kissing the river close by is the church of Nossa Senhora de Penha de França, built in 1626, offering an absolutely splendid view of the twinkling lights of Panjim and a hope that your vacation could be frozen in time. An asymmetrical pool surrounded by lush lawns and coco palms beckons you to take a refreshing plunge. The deck overlooking the tranquil river is lined with wrought-iron benches and chairs for you to relax after a swim. Next to the pool, the sitting area boasts a stucco roof and reflects elements from Portuguese architecture style. Inside, it is furnished with cushioned armchairs and a circular coffee table. A circular four-seater dinette is perfect for you to savour delectable meals with a picturesque backdrop. The living room is spacious and sports high ceiling. The walls are enhanced with golden strips which beautifully shine during the golden hour. It is appointed with a plush couch, a couple of armchairs, an antique centre table, and two cushy armchairs.
The bedrooms are commodious and well-furnished. Each room houses a canopy double bed with delicate drapes, bedside tables, a vanity unit for dressing convenience, and a utility table. Additionally, an elegant sofa set and a glass-topped coffee table are placed in front of the window. Vibrant rugs and adorn the beautifully tiled floors which adds an extra dimension to the space.
